When Derrick Rose returns, which he will, the Bulls will likely get things back on track, depending on how well everyone is playing as a team. Rose was one of the most dynamic and explosive point guards in the league up until his injury. Last year may have been the prophecy for the Heat, but what about this year? Can Rose ruin their season and beat them in the playoffs? Many say the Heat are unstoppable, but Derrick Rose may have something else to say.

The Heat are the best team in the league right now, no doubt. The Bulls are in the 6th position in the East, and have managed quite well, considering they’re missing their star point guard. The reason they’re doing so well is because Nate Robinson has taken over the point guard spot. When Rose returns, Robinson will back him up, and the Bulls will add more depth. Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer are already two premier players in the league, so Rose is returning to a good team.

The Heat, on the other hand, have been playing together all season long, and have improved their chemistry. Pat Reilly probably thinks that he’s built literally the perfect team, but there’s chance for upset in the playoffs.

It’s likely that the Bulls will encounter the Knicks in the first round. The Bulls, however, are a conference-leading team when Rose is healthy, so the Knicks would be getting the raw end of the deal.

Rose says that he is not mentally ready to return. This means that he is going to come back stronger than ever, and better than ever. He tried to improve himself while injured, and doesn’t want to be the same kind of Derrick Rose. Like it or not, Rose is going to be even better when he comes back, and he will want to take his revenge. After all, he hasn’t played more than one playoff game in almost a year.

If the Bulls get pass the first round, they’re likely to see the Heat somewhere. This will be the series to watch. If Rose is healthy, he will go head-to-head with LeBron James, and with Loul Deng and Joakim Noah, two guys with heart, the Bulls will be an unstoppable force. Most of their players already have chemistry, and could upset the defending champs.

Rose and the Bulls were forming into a dynasty, which sadly collapsed because of injury. Can the Bulls upset the Heat?
