When the world was first introduced to Bryce Harper, Sports Illustrated compared him to LeBron James; no pressure there, kid!

He moved from catcher to the outfield in the minor leagues to make a quicker dash to the MLB and last season, while the Nats were in Hollywood, Harper made his debut. Harper is the biggest building piece of the best team in the majors, and took home a well-deserved NL ROY award. He plays the game without restraint and without fear. In his second ever game he leaped into the wall at Dodger Stadium and was slow getting up, but he refused to depart. In an important game against the Phillies he stole home and turned an infield single into a double when Philadelphia got lazy on defense.

Harper looks like he’s trying to hit a homerun in every at bat, until he sees the defense is playing back and he drops a bunt so he can race against the catcher arm. He does all this, and yet he isn’t even legally allowed to take a drink of alcohol. Of course, there is still one player who does everything he does, but better. If you really have to ask who it is, well, that’s a clown question bro.

Closest Legendary Player Comparison: Ken Griffey Jr.
