We take a look at the top Bay Area prospects in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft from both the Stanford football and Cal football programs.

With the 2019 NFL regular season officially at an end, many teams are beginning to turn their attention to the most important event on the offseason calendar — the 2020 NFL Draft.

For fans in the Bay Area, there are a number of intriguing storylines. Many are keeping one eye focused on the San Francisco 49ers postseason run and the other eye on how the Oakland (soon to be Las Vegas) Raiders will use their treasure trove of picks.

However, there is another notable point of interest in the San Francisco area — the prospects from Stanford and Cal. For a few players from each school, the April 25th draft represents a chance for their dreams to be realized as they hear their names called and prepare to join one of the 32 professional franchises.

While neither university has any prospects that are expected to be top overall picks, each boasts a handful of players who could be selected this April.

Here a look at the top Cardinal and Golden Bears prospects and where each could be chosen in the 2020 NFL Draft.
