Most analysts agree that the 49ers have one of the strongest and deepest rosters in the NFL. This didn’t happen just overnight. Although the 49ers did have some struggles 10 years ago, they did make some solid picks that have helped the team reach the success that they have been enjoying recently. Some of these picks might seem like no-brainers, but when teams constantly miss on picks year after year, it becomes evident that no pick is a sure thing.

This list is in no particular order because it is so hard to gauge which picks are the best. There are a lot of choices to choose from, and it was very difficult to narrow it down.

    I think if you are going to cover the last 10 years you need to give an honorable mention to Andy Lee who has been on the team longer than anyone . Taken in the 6th round of the 2004 draft he has had several Pro Bowl Trips.
