The 49ers have a very similar situation going into the 2014 as they did going into the 2013 draft. History likes to repeat itself, so 49ers’ fans should get acquainted with last year’s draft.

Just like this year’s draft, the 49ers went into the 2013 draft with lots of picks and small amount of immediate needs. They did quite a bit of trading, just like many are assuming they will do this year. They addressed their needs and added some depth to their roster, so they did what most teams hope to do. However, there are still questions about how well they did those things.
