As an avid baseball fan one thing that always gets me shaking my head is when non-baseball fans say how boring and slow the game is. They say baseball can’t match the “wow” factor of the NBA or the speed of the NFL. While it is true that those sports do have great athletes that can drop your jaws, I must say don’t sell the American pastime short.

While I believe that every team has players that you shouldn’t miss seeing, and every game has moments that suspend belief; if you truly are a baseball fan trying to convince another sports fan of baseball’s superior quality don’t miss the opportunity to bring up these five men.
