My, how time flies. A quarter of the NFL season is already in the books, and it seems like play just started yesterday. The first quartet of games has given us a picture of some teams that look like true contenders, some teams that are a real mess, and some teams that no one can really be sure about.

Six NFL teams remain undefeated, none of whom call the NFC West home, as the only team in the division without a loss entering this week fell from the ranks of the unbeaten, to a division foe nonetheless. Four teams entered the weekend without a win, but only one of those remains blank in the win column, due to a controversial finish on Monday night.

Before the next quarter of a season goes by in the blank of an eye, check out Golden Gate Sports’ fourth edition of the NFC West Power Rankings.
