Sacramento Kings Podcast: Can the Kings Draft Joel Embiid?

In this episode of The Kings Court, the show gives its impression on the two players that are headlining the Sacramento Kings’ third pre-draft workout.

Vince will give the pros and cons of both players and ask a question that some people may have missed when they put this prospect on their radar.

It was reported earlier this week that the Kings had a meeting with sharpshooting prospects Doug McDermott and Nik Stauskas. The desk will give their breakdowns of each player and why they could be a good fit for the Kings.

Joel Embiid’s draft stock has taken a major hit now that he has been scheduled to have surgery on his foot. Could Embiid be labeled “injury-prone”? Could he be there when it’s the Kings turn to pick? If so, does Sacramento choose him? Vince will give his thought on the skilled big man out of Kansas, and he will tell you what he would do if he were the Kings GM and had the opportunity to draft Embiid.

To round out the show Vince will be taking fan questions. If you have a question or topic that you want on the show, you can email your questions to [email protected]
