The San Francisco 49ers, who were 12-4 and earned a wild-card playoff berth a year ago, are scheduled to host the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers in addition to their three NFC West home games against the Arizona Cardinals, St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks.
The 49ers will also be opening up Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara this season, so this evening will include the reveal of the first regular-season opponent to visit the sparkling new facility.
San Francisco’s road games this year include the three divisional games along with visits to the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Denver Broncos and their cross-bay rivals in Oakland.
The Oakland Raiders, meanwhile, will play home games against their AFC West opponents—the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers—and the 49ers will also visit O.co Coliseum. Oakland’s remaining home slate includes the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals.
The Raiders will make their three AFC West road trips in addition to paying visits to the New England Patriots, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks.
