Report: Free Agent CB Mike Jenkins Visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers

According to a report, free agent cornerback Mike Jenkins is visiting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday. Jenkins spent 2013 with the Oakland Raiders, starting 15 games.

The Raiders signed Jenkins last April after he played five years with the Dallas Cowboys. Last season, Jenkins started 15 games and had two interceptions, six passes defensed, one forced fumble and 65 tackles.

He has 10 career interceptions and was a Pro Bowler for the Cowboys in 2009, when he made five picks and defensed 19 passes.

Jenkins was taken 25th overall by Dallas out of South Florida in 2008.

Pro Football Focus ranked Jenkins tied for 68th out of 81 corners in the league last season. Opposing quarterbacks had a 104.8 passer rating when throwing his way and receivers caught 59 of 84 targets for 691 yards—322 after the catch—and five touchdowns.
