According to separate reports, free agent cornerback Tracy Porter has signed with the Washington Redskins after one season with the Oakland Raiders and defensive tackle Pat Sims is visiting the Tennessee Titans. Sims was also a Raider in 2013.
NFL.com reported that Porter had agreed to terms with the Redskins, pending a physical. No financial terms were announced.
Porter had two interceptions, 12 passes defensed, 1.5 sacks and 67 tackles for Oakland last season, starting all 16 games. He returned one of the interceptions for a touchdown in a loss to the New York Giants on Nov. 10.
Porter, 27, was a second-round pick of the New Orleans Saints out of Indiana and spent four years with the Saints and one in Denver before coming to the Raiders as a free agent last spring.
Meanwhile, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reported via Twitter that Sims was coming to Nashville to meet with the Titans.
