Report: Free Agent DT Jason Hatcher Scheduled To Visit Oakland Raiders After Seattle Trip

According to a report, defensive tackle Jason Hatcher of the Dallas Cowboys is scheduled to visit the Seattle Seahawks and a separate report has Hatcher coming down the coast to visit the Oakland Raiders next.

Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reported Hatcher’s visit to the Seahawks on Tuesday, via Twitter:

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media then had the information about the follow-up trip to Oakland:

Hatcher, 31, had a breakout year with the Cowboys in 2013, posting a career-high 11 sacks (his previous best had been 4.5 in 2011). He forced two fumbles, had three passes defensed and made 41 tackles in 15 games.

Hatcher was a third-round pick of the Cowboys in 2006 out of Grambling State and didn’t become a full-time starter until 2011, though he was a regular part of Dallas’ rotation on the defensive line.

He has 27 career sacks.

Don’t let him get away Reggie. Like Veldeer and Houston and prospects. Not that he reads these blogs from fans who are the ones that get screwed every year.

He’s visiting Seattle first? Damn we need a new stadium. I love my Raiders, but if Seattle offered me the same money as Oakland, hell… even less it’s a no brainer. Damn we need a new stadium. Hard to get quality players without overpaying if no one really wants to be here. Anyways… That’s my vent for the day. Hope we get some good players in FA. Just wish they would get this stadium deal done they’ve been teasing us with over the last 6 years. Maybe then guys like Damarcus Ware would be visiting our house instead the Doncos.
