The Golden State Warriors announced Sunday they have recalled rookie guard Nemanja Nedovic from Santa Cruz of the NBA Development League.

Nedovic was sent to the D-League Warriors on Monday and played two games in his most recent stint in Santa Cruz, playing 40 minutes and scoring 14 points with eight assists.

The 22-year-old Serbian was the last pick in the first round by the Phoenix Suns last June and was traded to the Warriors for the rights to draft choice Archie Goodwin and veteran guard Malcolm Lee. The Warriors had acquired Lee and the rights to Andre Roberson for cash and a 2014 second-round pick earlier on draft night; they then flipped Roberson to the Thunder for the rights to Goodwin.

Nedovic has played in just 21 games for Golden State this season, averaging 6.4 minutes and 1.1 points per game while shooting just 22.9 percent and 18.8 percent from 3-point range.
