Golden State Warriors Sent Three To Santa Cruz

The Golden State Warriors assigned guards Kent Bazemore and MarShon Brooks, along with center Ognjen Kuzmic, to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League on Tuesday.

The team, through its official website, announced the assignment and said all three players would suit up for Santa Cruz Tuesday night when it hosts the Idaho Stampede.

Bazemore, a second-year guard out of Old Dominion, has appeared in 44 games for Golden State, averaging 2.3 points on 37.1 percent shooting in 6.1 minutes a game. Bazemore played one other game in Santa Cruz this year, scoring 25 points with three rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes.

Brooks was acquired from the Celtics in a Jan. 15 trade and has made seven appearances for Golden State, averaging 1.9 points in 2.1 minutes per game while going 5-for-13 from the floor. Brooks played in one game for Santa Cruz this season, posting six points and two assists in 22 minutes.

Kuzmic missed several weeks with a broken hand and has played in 16 games for the NBA Warriors, scoring nine points with 12 rebounds on 3-of-11 shooting in 3.6 minutes a game. Kuzmic has played eight games in Santa Cruz, averaging 22 minutes, 6.3 points, 10.9 rebounds and one block per game.
