The Oakland Athletics announced Monday a list of 21 players who are committed to attending FanFest on Saturday at both O.co Coliseum and Oracle Arena.
According to CSNBayArea.com, the list includes Yoenis Cespedes, Jesse Chavez, Ryan Cook, Josh Donaldson, Sean Doolittle, Sonny Gray, John Jaso, Tommy Milone, Derek Norris, Dan Otero, Jarrod Parker, Josh Reddick, Eric Sogard, Dan Straily and Stephen Vogt, as well as new members of the club Craig Gentry, Chris Gimenez, Jim Johnson, Eric O’Flaherty, Drew Pomeranz and Nick Punto.
The event is set from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the two venues, with manager Bob Melvin and members of the coaching staff on hand.
The 40th anniversary of the A’s 1974 World Series champions will be marked by the appearances of Vida Blue, Ray Fosse and Gene Tenace, with Dave Henderson and Tony Phillips on hand to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Oakland’s last World Series championship club in 1989.
