The Sacramento Kings and New Orleans Pelicans have already been introduced, thank you very much. The Pelicans took a 113-100 victory at Sleep Train Arena on Dec. 23 in the first meeting between the Kings and the newly minted Pelicans—who used to be the Hornets, of course.
When the Hornets were in New Orleans—and their two years displaced to Oklahoma City by Hurricane Katrina—the Kings were just 4-15 against them in 18 games at New Orleans and one in Norman, Okla.
The Hornets won the last three meetings with the Kings in the Big Easy.
But Sacramento gets a clean slate of sorts. They’ve never beaten the Pelicans in New Orleans, but they’ve never lost to them, either.
That’s the only game on The Docket for Tuesday, so enjoy it.
Kings at Houston, 5 p.m.
San Diego State at San Jose State, 7 p.m.
