Veteran cornerback Carlos Rogers was listed as questionable on the San Francisco 49ers Friday injury report in advance of Sunday’s NFC Championship against the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle, but said he would be in the lineup.
“It’s tough after the injury I had to come in and play 65-70 snaps,” Rogers told CSNBayArea.com. “I think that working 25, 30 whatever it is in the nickel will help, but I’ll be ready even if I go play in the base defense. I’m prepared for it all.”
Rogers said he took every snap playing the slot corner in the 49ers nickel package at practice on Friday and will play that spot on Sunday.
Fullback Will Tukuafu is also listed as questionable with a knee injury he sustained early in last weekend’s NFC Divisional Playoff win at Carolina. He was limited in practice Friday while wearing a brace on the knee.
Listed as probable were linebacker Navorro Bowman (wrist), linebacker Ahmad Brooks (illness), wide receiver Michael Crabtree (wrist), defensive end Damarcus Dobbs (knee, shoulder), center Jonathan Goodwin (foot), running back Frank Gore (knee), linebacker Dan Skuta (foot) and defensive tackle Justin Smith (shoulder).
Meanwhile, up the coast, the Seahawks announced that receiver Percy Harvin is officially out for Sunday. He was unable to successfully complete the league’s concussion protocols on Friday after he was injured in Saturday’s win over the New Orleans Saints in the divisional round.
