The Pac-12 Conference released its schedule for the 2014 season and for the third time in four years, the conference championship game will be played on a Friday night.
The winners of the conference’s North and South divisions will play at the home field of the team with the best conference record.
The Big Game between Stanford and Cal will be played this season at Memorial Stadium in Berkley on Saturday, Nov. 22, and will not be the final regular-season game for either team. Stanford closes its conference schedule at UCLA on Friday, Nov. 28, and the Golden Bears host BYU for a non-conference game on Saturday, Nov. 29.
The season opens on Thursday, Aug. 28, with three games involving conference teams, with the other nine Pac-12 members getting started on Saturday, Aug. 30.
