The Docket: Warriors Reach For History In Brooklyn

The Golden State Warriors picked up consecutive victory No. 10 Tuesday night in Milwaukee and can tie the franchise record for most consecutive wins if they can beat the Brooklyn Nets Wednesday night.

The Warriors will be going to a place where they’ve never lost, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Of course, it’s the mother of all sample sizes—the Warriors are 1-0 in that building, a 109-102 win on Dec. 7, 2012.

The Nets have been a huge disappointment this season, but have won three straight games for the first time all season.

The Warriors will be looking to tie the franchise mark set by the 1971-72 Warriors, the first to use the Golden State name. That team won 11 straight from Dec. 29, 1971, through Jan. 22, 1972.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Colorado State Rams at San Jose State Spartans, 7 p.m.
The Rams come to the Event Center never having lost to the Spartans, who are 0-6 all-time against Colorado State. The last meeting was Dec. 23, 1999, and went to the Rams 61-57. The last time the teams played at San Jose was Dec. 22, 1997, which was a 58-41 Colorado State victory. The Rams are 9-6 overall and 0-2 in Mountain West Conference play. San Jose State comes in 6-8 and 0-2 in their new conference.

Sacramento State at Northern Arizona, 5:30 p.m.
Stanford at Oregon State, 7 p.m.
