The Golden State Warriors will be attempting to become the first team in NBA history to go unbeaten on a road trip of seven or more games Wednesday night when they visit the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center.
The Warriors will also be trying to tie their franchise record with their 11th straight win overall.
The Nets, meanwhile, have won three straight, but will be without starting point guard Deron Williams, who is sidelined after needing more treatment on his chronically bad ankles.
According to the Associated Press, Williams received a cortisone shot and platelet rich plasma injections into his left ankle after spraining it.
This will be the 13th game Williams has missed this season because of ankle problems. He sat out a week last February for treatment, as well.
The Warriors have won six straight games on an Eastern Conference road trip, including a win over the defending champion Heat in Miami. On Tuesday night, Golden State blasted the Milwaukee Bucks 101-80.
