Chiney Ogwumike scored 17 points in the first 8:30 of the game to fuel a 29-4 opening burst and the Stanford Cardinal improved to 28-0 at Maples Pavilion all-time against the Oregon State Beavers with a 89-67 victory on Sunday.
The No. 4 Cardinal (13-1, 2-0 Pac-12 Conference) have won 12 in a row since losing at Connecticut on Nov. 11 and led at the half Sunday 50-30.
Ogwumike finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocked shots for Stanford. Lili Thompson had 19 points, Taylor Greenfield added 13 and Mikaela Ruef tossed in 10.
Sydney Wiese led the Beavers (8-6, 0-2) with 15 points, Jamie Weisner added 13 and Samantha Siegner finished with 11 points and eight rebounds. Ruth Hamblin notched eight rebounds and blocked three shots.
The Cardinal head to Utah on Friday night for a 5 p.m. Pacific tipoff.
