At whatever point the San Francisco 49ers’ season ends, so too will the tenure of Tim Drevno as one of the two offensive line coaches for the club.
According to CSNBayArea.com, Drevno will coach at USC for new coach Steve Sarkisian, where he will coach the offensive line as well as coordinate the running game.
The 44-year-old Drevno shares offensive line duties with Mike Solari in San Francisco and has been with the team since 2011, Jim Harbaugh’s first season with the 49ers.
Drevno has coached under Harbaugh at both the University of San Diego, Stanford and with the 49ers.
The 49ers should still be in solid hands up front. Solari has spent more than 25 years as an NFL assistant coach, serving the last four seasons in San Francisco under both Mike Singletary and Harbaugh.
