In this episode of the Kings Court Podcast, I give the reason why the Sacramento Kings are struggling as of late and the one person I actually feel bad for when watching the Kings play. I also get into the Isaiah Thomas debate and give my take on why he is playing his way into a good contract. I also look at his one major flaw and explain why the problem he has is not his fault, but why he still needs to stay on the floor.
Since it is the time for giving, I will be giving away a couple prizes this week as I will be doing another episode of the Kings’ Court Podcast on Friday. Today I will be giving away a Scott Pollard plaque; to win this prize you have to answer the question given in the podcast. Once you know the answer tweet it to me (@VMCENTER) with the hashtag Kings Court Podcast (i.e. #KingsCourtPodcast).
After giving the question for fans to win a Scott Pollard plaque, I get into the play of DeMarcus Cousins and how–even though he is playing great–he will still not make the All-Star Game. I give my case on why DeMarcus Cousins should be an All-Star and how he is a great combination of two post players that are in the game today.
I move on to a player that has come in and played great since the Kings acquired him–Rudy Gay. I explain that the Kings are actually a great fit for Gay because it brings him back to the same role he had when he had his best years in Memphis. I also give my take on Jimmer Fredette and Ben McLemore. I explain why McLemore should not go to the bench and why Jimmer needs to stop passing.
