Mike Iupati Questionable For San Francisco 49ers This Week

The San Francisco 49ers thought they might be getting guard Mike Iupati back this week after he’s sat out three games with a partially torn MCL.

But according to CSNBayArea.com, coach Jim Harbaugh said Friday that Iupati might miss a fourth straight game, allowing there is a “possibility” the Pro Bowler could play.

If he can’t go, Adam Snyder would make a fourth consecutive start at left guard, although Snyder was also on the team’s injury report on Friday as probable, but that it is not injury related.

Cornerback Tarell Brown is questionable because of his injured ribs, while wide receiver Mario Manningham and tight end Vance McDonald are also listed as questionable—as they were a week ago for the Seattle game in which they both saw action.

Guard Carl Nicks will be out again for Tampa Bay as he is still recovering from surgery to deal with MRSA he contracted in a blister on his left foot during training camp. The former All-Pro has been limited to just two games this season because of the issue.
