The Golden State Warriors announced Thursday they have waived center Dewayne Dedmon.
Dedmon, 24, was an undrafted free agent out of Southern California, played six minutes in four games with the Warriors, scoring one point.
Dedmon, signed from the Warriors’ D-League affiliate in Santa Cruz, on Nov. 18, also played one game in Santa Cruz, scoring 23 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in 34 minutes, with three steals and three blocked shots, in a Nov. 24 victory over the Austin Toros.
Dedmon, who is 7-feet and 255 pounds, played two years at Southern California. He averaged 6.7 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots in 31 games and 22.3 minutes a game for the Trojans last season.
