Travis Outlaw of Sacramento Kings Fined $15,000

The NBA announced Sunday that Sacramento Kings forward Travis Outlaw has been fined $15,000 for his flagrant foul against J.J. Redick in Saturday’s 103-102 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

According to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee, the league cited “making excessive and unnecessary contact” as the rationale for the fine.

Outlaw was ejected with 8:06 remaining in the game after taking Redick down while trying to prevent Redick from making a layup.

Outlaw was not suspended and will be available tonight when the Kings play the Los Angeles Lakers.
