On this episode of the Kings Court Podcast, guest Sam Amico (@SamAmicoFSO) from Fox Sports joins the show. We dive right into the Kings 11-game season and Sam gives his input of what he has seen from the team. From there Sam and I direct ourselves to DeMarcus Cousins and the changes that he seems to be showing this season. Sam explains what Boogie has shown improvement in and also things that he can still improve on to take his game to the next level.
Next, we go talk about the point guard battle/tag team of Isaiah Thomas and Greivis Vasquez. Sam and I give our input on what we have seen from both players, and how having both players on the roster can be such a big positive. Also I give acknowledgement to IT for his new scoring accomplishment. From one guard we move to the next.
The shooting guard position has been getting major attention as of late because of the benching of Marcus Thornton and now fan favorite Jimmer Fredette is now seeing minutes. Sam goes into detail about what it all could mean and puts the end to all possible rumors that may have surfaced the past few days. We both give our input on how the rotation all season long will be in flux and why.
To finish out the rotation of players, Sam and I move on to the forward spot and dissect the lack of production those two spots seem to have the team suffering. We move on to the future and think of when Carl Landry makes his return and who has possibly been playing their way out of the rotation, when the team can become fully healthy.
To round out this podcast, Sam answers the questions that all fans want to know. Sam goes into great detail about the Sacramento Kings aggressively shopping to make a move. He explains what he is hearing is going on and how the team-of the place he resides-are a strong candidate to make a move with Sacramento. I then finish off explaining what all fans should expect of the team moving forward and how this one word is what will be need all season long
