The Oakland Raiders (2-4) will look to end a 10-game losing streak after their bye week when the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4) come to O.co Coliseum this afternoon.
The Raiders have won their last two at home against Pittsburgh, which last beat the Raiders on the road in 1995. The Raiders had one of their best wins of 2012 at the expense of the Steelers when they beat Pittsburgh 34-31 last Sept. 23, overcoming a 10-point fourth quarter deficit.
The good news for the Raiders is that center Stefen Wisniewski is active this week, returning from a knee injury, but Andre Gurode will be inactive today because of a quad injury. A patchwork offensive line against the Chiefs two weeks ago contributed to Terrelle Pryor being sacked nine times.
Pryor leads the team in passing and rushing and hopes to get some help from Darren McFadden, who has been limited to 90 yards on 33 carries this year while dealing with a bad hamstring.
Raider inactives today include safety Tyvon Branch, wide receiver Juron Criner, Gurode, tackle Tony Pashos, defensive end Ryan Robinson, tackle Menelik Watson and linebacker Martez Wilson.
Inactive for the Steelers are cornerback Curtis Brown, linebacker Chris Carter, nose tackle Hebron Fangupo, tight end Richard Gordon, quarterback Landry Jones, wide receiver Markus Wheaton and linebacker Kion Wilson.
