The Oakland Raiders (1-3) will take on the San Diego Chargers (2-2) at the O.co Coliseum on Sunday night in a primetime matchup that was pushed back due to a scheduling conflict with baseball. Instead of the normal 1:25 start time, kickoff will be at 8:35.

The Raiders are starting so late because the Coliseum grounds crew needs ample time to be able to transform the stadium from baseball to football after the A’s played Game 2 of the ALDS on Saturday night. It typically takes 18-20 hours for the transformation to take place, so they have been working through the night and will still be working well into the afternoon.

This means the game will be nationally televised, and the entire country will be tuning in to watch the Raiders and Chargers battle it out in one of the fiercest rivalries in the NFL.

Terrelle Pryor will be making his first start since sustaining a concussion two weeks ago against the Broncos. Pryor’s backup, Matt Flynn, started against the Redskins last week, and did not fare well. In fact, Flynn has been demoted to third string by the Raiders.

For the Chargers, they are at .500 early on in the season after defeating the Cowboys last week. Phillip Rivers has gotten off to an impressive start, along with wide receiver Antonio Gates.
