Sacramento Kings Podcast 9/30: Cousins’ New Extension, Comparing Kings to Rest of NBA

In this episode of Kings’ talk, I start off by going over the new contract for DeMarcus Cousins. I decide wether or not DMC really deserved the contract extension, or if the Kings should have waited until next year’s offseason to see if they were certain that Cousins should be their franchise centerpiece.

I go over the trust that needs to build between both the front office and DeMarcus. While going over the trust building between the two, I also explain why having the trust between both parties can really help the movement of the Kings continue moving in a positive direction.

I then move onto a new segment, which will be on the show until the season starts, of comparing the Kings to each team in the Western Conference. I will be going over the teams by division, and once we are finished I will give my projected record and projected seed for the Kings.

Remember to follow me on Twitter for all questions and responses (@vmcenter). With all my comparisons let me know if you feel I am wrong, let me know if you feel I could be overrating or underrating this Sacramento Kings team.

Hope you enjoy!
