San Francisco 49ers’ RB Anthony Dixon Starts The Trash-Talking

Apparently the fans and the cities are not the only people who cannot wait for this Sunday’s game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.

There has been plenty of trash-talking between the two teams in previous matchups, and now it has picked up once again.

This time it was 49ers third-string back and special teamer Anthony Dixon who started it all off by tweeting on Wednesday, “Extra weight on the racks all week getting less sleep preparing for these She-Hawks.” He continued, saying “I love hostile environments imma feel right at home..”

He eventually deleted the tweet earlier this morning, but not after his former teammate from Mississippi State had something to say about it. Linebacker K.J. Wright retweeted: ” lol the she hawks?? I’ll be sure to relay the message to the fellas.. It’s gone be a long night for you and the forty whiners” . Wright also deleted his tweet, but not before plenty of people saw it.

This comes just a day or so after there were reports that quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick had a bet involving eyebrows, although that has since been squelched.

With the game being in Seattle this weekend, it may not be a great idea to give the Seahawks more ammo, but then again, why not add fuel to this rivalry? It may be best to keep your ears and eyes open, because I expect this to only be the beginning. Especially when both teams are lead by fiery and passionate head coaches.

‘She’hawks’? What an unimaginative invective. I think Seadderall Cheathawks is a far better
epithet; it incorporates the name of the city and is topical. ‘Shehawks’
or ‘Seachickens’ sound like what the neighborhood bully would say after
finally getting his nose bloodied by the new kid on the block…

Actually I guess that fits coming from a forty-whiner.
