In Warrior-related news, the first we’ve heard in a while not regarding free agency, sophomore Kent Bazemore has been added to the all-summer league team.
For an undrafted player who should have been drafted, this is a huge honor. The Warriors are looking really good in summer league right now, and Bazemore has lead them to a perfect record so far.

Right now, the Warriors are playing the Phoenix Suns in the championship game, and Bazemore is really playing like he wants that trophy. It may not be the biggest honor, but he’s probably trying to prove something to Mark Jackson by showing that he has the potential to be a leader. He knows how to play the game, and again, he’s showing it with the way that he’s been playing in the summer league.
Now, we get to see if he will be able to win summer league MVP. So far, Bazemore has averaged 18.5 points per game, and has 10 in the middle of the second quarter against Phoenix. It’ll be interesting to see if the Warriors can pull of the win, as the game has been fairly close so far.
