San Francisco 49ers Waive Cornerback Lowell Rose

The San Francisco 49ers waived cornerback Lowell Rose today to free up space on their 90-man roster.

According to 49ers.com, Rose, who was an undrafted free agent out of Tulsa, was waived. Training camp is starting for the 49ers, as rookies are reporting today. However, Rose isn’t going to be with the team.

In 2012, Rose registered 55 tackles and intercepted two passes. He also defensed 10 passes, so he did a good job against the pass and against the run. However, the 49ers didn’t think he did. As a result, he’s not a 49er anymore.
