Well, Kent Bazemore seems to be coming along nicely. Yesterday, he led the Golden State Warriors to an incredible last-minute comeback against the Dallas Mavericks. The Warriors’ record is now 4-0 in the summer league, and Bazemore is looking like the sophomore of the year. If that was a thing, he would win it.
Bazemore is having a great summer league right now and it’s been great for the Warriors so far. Bazemore had 25 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Those are some pretty good numbers for Bazemore, showing that he has potential. He’s really going to come along as a player if he can fit into a backup for Klay Thompson next season.
He may be one of the Warriors’ future contributors as the strive to win a championship with Stephen Curry as their star. Bazemore could average upwards of eight points per game, as he has a lot of potential. In the few minutes that he got in garbage time, he showed that he knows how to play. The fans love him, so why not give him a shot?

The Warriors are looking to develop their young players, and right now, Bazemore is really proving that he’s going to be one of the guys of the future. Thompson is going to lock the starting shooting guard position, of course, but there’s really no one right now to back him up other than Nemanja Nedovic.
