Tyreke Evans’ future comes down to the Sacramento Kings‘ preference: Andre Iguodala or Evans. It sounds like the organization is leaning towards the former.
Jonathan Santiago of ESPN’s TrueHoop network reports that the Kings will likely make their decision regard Evans’ future on Wednesday.

Evans currently has an offer from the New Orleans Pelicans on the table. And quite a contract it is: four years, with the salary ranging from $40-50 million, depending on which report you read. The 23-year-old also met with the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, and he could meet with another Eastern Conference team.
Evans reportedly came away “impressed” after meeting with the Kings on Monday. The feelings might have changed, as the Kings are now “leaning strongly” against matching Evans’ offer sheet from the Pelicans, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com. Their interest in Iguodala, meanwhile, has spiked. Evans can’t sign the Pelicans’ offer sheet until July 10.
It’s cliché, but only time will reveal what’s in store for Tyreke Evans’ future. Luckily for those impatient people out there, the plan could be revealed Wednesday.
