With a plethora of professional and collegiate teams, the Bay Area has no shortage of excellent broadcasters.

From “outta here” to “what a bonanza” to “ring ‘em up,” the Bay Area’s broadcasters each have distinct and well-known voices and calls.

So we’re going to put you on the spot here and ask you to rank them in order. Yes, I’m talking 15 different broadcasters across pro and collegiate teams in the bay.

    No disrespect to Lon Simmons, but Bill King is the greatest Bay announcer of all time! You could make a CD of his calls of Raider/A’s/Warriors’ games. Shame he never got the national recognition he deserved. But yes, it’s not even close in my opinion.
