Earthquakes' Road Struggles Continue, Shutout 1-0 by FC Dallas

The San Jose Earthquakes lost yet again on the road Saturday evening, falling 1-0 to FC Dallas. San Jose has yet to win a game away from home this season.

Fabian Castillo scored the only goal of the night for FC Dallas on the counter-attack. Castillo took the pass on the right wing, deked into the middle and struck a low but accurate shot around Quakes’ goalkeeper Jon Busch for the goal:

Despite their valiant efforts, the Quakes would not be able to equalize.

Dallas goalkeeper Raul Fernandez stopped several opportunities, and stymied the Quakes’ bid for some late-game heroics.

The Quakes are now 3-5-6 on the season and are two points out of a playoff spot.
