The Oakland Raiders finished their previous season with a miserable  4-12 record. It’s not easy to bounce back from a year (or years) of playing bad football, but that is what the struggling Raiders will look to do in the upcoming 2013-2014 season.

With that said, there are always things to look forward to and be optimistic about. Here are three for the Raiders.

The last point is the key. The future of the organization is in good hands. As we have seen over the past year, McKenzie has been dumping the guys with big contracts who provide little results. This is a team finally looking thru a windshield and not the side mirror. Fans need to be patient and understand the process. Simply looking at the draft, McKenzie gained my full support. From Miles Burris to Rod Streater and now Moore and Hayden, these guys are actual football players. They will develop and help the franchise for years to come. We won’t see the developed players leave after this season because he cleared the way to add talent and keep key players with all the moves of the past 2 offseasons.
