One way or another, Daric Barton somehow finds a way back on the A’s roster year-after-year.

The once highly-touted prospect will be called up on Wednesday from Triple-A Sacramento, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.

This move will allow them to move Brandon Moss to the outfield, as the A’s are currently at a shortage in an area that they once had depth in. Chris Young, Coco Crisp, and now Josh Reddick are all on the disabled list with injuries, leaving Yoenis Cespedes as the only starting outfielder remaining.
