Many Cal fans have plenty to look forward to in the NFL next season, as four former California Golden Bears were selected in this year’s NFL Draft. Who were they?

1. Keenan Allen

The San Diego Chargers used their 14th pick in the 3rd round to select Keenan Allen.

Even though the Chargers aren’t in dire need of a wide receiver at the moment, Allen’s extraordinary ability will certainly help them in the future.

Allen is Cal’s all-time leading receiver with 205 catches and third on the list with 2,570 yards.

Allen was projected to be a late first-round, early second-round draft pick, but for whatever reason, he fell to the third round. Allen was a steal in the third-round, and now, the San Diego Chargers have a quality wide receiver that has the size and ability to become a great wide receiver in the league.

Go Chargers!! So happy to have these two Cal Bears and think that they were both steals in the 3rd and 5th rounds. They will turn out to be great contributors for this team at the NFL level.
