It took a long time, but the Oakland Raiders finally upgraded the defensive line and selected a defensive lineman.

The Raiders, a team that finished second-to-last in the league with a miserable 25 sacks, took Stacy McGee, a defensive tackle from Oklahoma, to add depth on the defensive line. McGee missed seven games in 2012, and he finished the year with only one sack. Over his career, McGee accumulated 9.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks, so he’s not going to come in and make a huge impact. In six games during the 2012 season, McGee registered 21 tackles.

Oakland nabbed McGee with the draft’s 205th selection. The Raiders have two picks left in the draft.
