The San Francisco 49ers pulled off another trade with the Green Bay Packers, moving ahead five spots from No. 93 to No. 88, and selected defensive end Corey Lemonier out of Auburn.

Lemonier ran a 4.56 in the 40-yard dash, and according to NFL.com’s scouting report, he is “quick off the edge and the type of rusher than can only be contained for so long.”

It is becoming more and more obvious that Baalke has no love for players West of the Rockies. Is Lemonier better than Chase Thomas. Maybe the 49ers should have taken Marcus Lattimore at #93 because he probably won’t drop to #128.

I heard Baalke was going to do some dynamic trading and move up and grab some key players. Instead of playing chess he is playing checkers.
