The San Francisco 49ers gave up their 31st and 74th selections in the 2013 NFL Draft in exchange for the 18th pick of the Dallas Cowboys, and drafted LSU safety Eric Reid.
San Francisco had a surplus of picks going into the draft — 13 to be exact — so trading up was not much of a problem for them.
