NFL Draft 2013: Oakland Raiders Will Not Select DT Shariff Floyd at No. 3

Kim Klement, US Presswire

As the first round of the NFL Draft approaches Thursday, speculation is mounting about what the Raiders will do at No. 3 — trade the pick, or keep it?

If they keep it, one guy they won’t be selecting is defensive tackle Shariff Floyd out of Florida.

The NFL Network’s Charley Casserly reported on the show “Path to the Draft” that the Raiders are definitely not interested in drafting Floyd.

Floyd recorded 46 tackles and three sacks in his junior year with the Gators, and is projected to be a top pick in the first round.
