In response to a Twitter user, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers claimed that Charles Woodson was the best defensive back he’s ever faced.

Woodson, a 14-year veteran, was drafted by the Raiders and spent eight seasons in Oakland before moving on to Green Bay, where he became teammates with Rodgers. He was the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1998.
He has received numerous accolades throughout his career as an eight-time Pro Bowler, seven-time All-Pro member, and Super Bowl champion. Woodson was also the AP Defensive Player of the Year in 2009.
He is currently a free agent, but GM Trent Baalke toldreporters last week that they are “still interested” in signing him.
Woodson visited with the 49ers earlier this month, but talks had seemingly broken off.
“I was up there three or four weeks ago and they let me get out of there, so that wasn’t a good sign so I don’t know if that is going to happen or not,” Woodson told the NFL Network.
