San Francisco 49ers: Justin Smith Has No Restrictions, Resumes Weight Lifting

Justin Smith is one tough cowboy, and he has proven that time and time again.

Smith had surgery to repair his torn triceps in February, after an injury suffered against New England in Week 14. He missed the final two regular season games, but returned to action in the postseason.

AP reported earlier this week that Smith’s recovery was going fine. GM Trent Baalke noted that he has “no restrictions” and has resumed weight lifting.

In 14 games last season, Smith recorded three sacks, 66 tackles, and a fumble recovery.
