The 49ers will begin their season with a playoff re-match against the Green Bay Packers at home, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

San Francisco defeated Green Bay 45-31 in the Divisional Round, when Colin Kaepernick broke a record by rushing for 181 yards and two touchdowns.

The two teams also met at the beginning of last season, with the 49ers winning that matchup as well, by the score of 30-22. That game was played in Green Bay, as some guy named Alex Smith threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns, one of them to Randy Moss.
