NFL Draft: 49ers to Meet With Cincinnati TE Travis Kelce

The San Francisco 49ers will host draft prospect Travis Kelce over the weekend, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Kelce is ranked by Josh Norris of as the second-best tight end in the draft and is projected to go in the third round.

“A feisty blocker with an inline frame and a growing comfort in space, Kelce has everything you want on the field,” writes Norris.

The Bee reports that Kelce ran the 40-yard dash in 4.61 seconds while battling a viral infection in a private workout last Monday. He is regarded as one of the best blocking tight ends in draft, and the 49ers have had a history of selecting tight ends that can block (Vernon Davis, Delanie Walker).
