The Oakland Raiders are close to signing former Jaguars running back Rashad Jennings. The source? Jennings himself, via Twitter:
Not official ‘yet’ but looks like Oakland may be my new home. #raidernation

Jennings tweeted earlier today that he “enjoyed” his workout with the Raiders, who are looking for someone to replace Mike Goodson as Darren McFadden’s backup.
Selected in the seventh round in 2009, Jennings has spent his entire career with the Jaguars, backing up Maurice Jones-Drew the majority of the time. In 10 games last season, he recorded 101 carries for 283 yards and two touchdowns.
His best season came in 2010, when he had 459 yards and four touchdowns on just 84 carries.
