Warriors Have Another Huge Game vs Wolves: Game Preview

If the Warriors win tonight, it won’t be a guarantee at clinching, but the magic number will be one game instead of two. What the Dubs will have to do is play their hearts out and hope either the Lakers or the Jazz lose tonight. If that happens, the Warriors are a lock for the playoffs. If the Warriors lose and the Jazz and Lakers both win, that means trouble for the Warriors. After this, they play a lot of tough teams.

So how can the Warriors win tonight?

1. Fast Break:

Fast-breaking is the key to a high scoring game, and if the Warriors do this, they can open up a huge lead. Right now, the T-Wolves are injured and slumping, but still have a lot of potential. Behind David Lee and Stephen Curry, however, the Warriors need to pound the Wolves by running them into the ground. It needs to be a decisive win in order for the Warriors to get some confidence.

2. Do the Dirty Work:

The Warriors’ defense was decent last game, but was nowhere close to spectacular. This is because they allowed too many offensive rebounds, didn’t contest many shots, and didn’t dive for those 50/50 balls. This is all dirty work and the Warriors will need to do some of it if they want to get a good win tonight.

Game Predictions:

Matchup to Watch: Curry vs Ricky Rubio

Players to Watch: Klay Thompson, Nikola Pekovic

Leading Scorer: Stephen Curry

Winner: Warriors.

Probable Lineups:

1. Curry vs Rubio

2. Thompson vs J.J Barea

3. Harrison Barnes vs Andrei Kirilenko

4. David Lee vs Derrick Williams

5. Andrew Bogut vs Pekovic
